Wheat Berries
Premium, 100% traceable, Canadian-grown Red Spring Wheat Berries.
Our number one grade Hard Red Spring Wheat comes from Will Robbins in Laura, Saskatchewan.
High in protein, Red Spring wheat is the go-to grain for bread baking flour, but also cooks nicely for salads and soups. Red Spring wheat accounts for the majority of wheat grown in Canada — and has garnered a reputation internationally for its superior milling and baking qualities. Mill it, sprout it, soak it, or boil it whole.
To cook, combine 1 part Wheat Berries with 4 parts water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 45-60 minutes or, until tender but firm.
Wheat Berries are delicious in salads and as a porridge. Browse our favourite Wheat Berry recipes here.

A Unique Taste
Used in Germinated Sourdough Bread. A very delightful taste. They are obviously fresh as the germination was prompt and thorough.

Fresh! Definitely suggest trying.
Tried to sprouted it and only in one day it gives my bread more texture and flavours. Using it in daily basis.

Wheatberries
Product is superb. Cooked as directed by Flourist, they came out tender and nutlike, with a beautiful texture and satisfying chew. I used them in most dinner dishes, and they are definitely a new staple food in my house!

So good used them to make your salad recipe and added apple cider vinegar in the cooking as suggested
