Flourist Whole Grain Einkorn Flour is milled from organically grown Einkorn wheat grown in the Swan River Valley of Manitoba. This flour contains 100% of the original grain and is rich in fibre and flavour. Use it in cookies and muffins and any recipe that calls for a softer flour.

Einkorn wheat was one of the first plants to be domesticated and cultivated. It is soft and crushes easily, resulting in a pillowy soft flour that is perfect for cakes, cookies, and loaves. We have opted for a 100% whole grain version since the bran mills down to be almost undetectable in the finished flour.

Best Einkorn Flour !!
This is by far the best Einkorn Flour I have tried . I made savory buttermilk biscuits they turned out great so fluffy and yummy. I have also made cheese stuffed chapatis and they turned out great too. Will definitely be buying more .
I really wanted to try this flour. I live on PEI, but I always order my flour from the Flourist because it makes such a difference in baking, especially bread baking. I made a quiche and some mushroom tarts using the Einkorn flour and the Flourist Einkorn pastry recipe for my pastry. I wasn’t convinced at first - had some trouble rolling it out, but it made delicious, flaky, healthy tasting crusts.
Excellent quality. Makes for a golden and delicious sourdough. The pressures that be have caused prices to rise, but our (Canadian) product is worth every penny. Savour it.
Makes excellent bread
I have switched over to einkorn flour for all my baking needs. I have had to modify recipes slightly for moisture because einkorn handles it differently than regular wheat. After being gluten free for 9 years and seeing little benefit, I decided to try einkorn because its gluten structure is different and there is less of it. I have not had any digestive issues with it. I still avoid all regular wheat. Almost no kneading required to make bread, which is great for arthritic hands. I have tried 3 different suppliers of einkorn flour, including one from Italy, all good, but I like flourist the best. It gives me consistent and tasty results. Thanks so much for making such a high quality product available. I love to support Canadian farmers too!
