I bought this pastry to see how I liked it - as I'd never had good luck with making pastry - before making it. Really great! And not tough to make with such good flour. Good texture and taste. And making the more free form galettes, rather than trying to negotiate a pie tin, is sheer genius! Thank you for the pastry, the good pastry recipe, all the fresh BC fruit and kithe galette format.
I followed the apple galette recipe and it was perfect. The pastry was perfectly flaky and crispy throughout. It had great flavour too.
Delicious and Quick
I love getting this pastry dough as a shortcut to weeknight galette dinners! It is just the right amount of buttery and the added texture from the Flourist flour really adds to the pastry.
