Make this delicious dip with our fast cooking Flourist Black Beans. Enjoy with crackers, chips, or tucked into a burrito. Warning, it's addictive!
Black Bean + Yoghurt Dip
2.5 cups cooked Flourist Black Beans (about 1 cup dry)
1 large onion, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil for cooking the onion
1/2 cup yoghurt
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tsp lime juice
1/2 tsp chipotle powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
First, heat the oil in a large frying pan. Cook the chopped onion in the oil until browning, about 8-10 minutes.
In a food processor or blender, combine all the ingredients together and blend until smooth. Taste to adjust salt and serve topped with chopped cilantro, chopped and seeded fresh jalapenos, chopped grape or cherry tomatoes, and crumbled feta.
