Premium, 100% traceable, Canadian-grown Red Spring Wheat Berries.
Our number one grade Hard Red Spring Wheat comes from Will Robbins in Laura, Saskatchewan.
High in protein, Red Spring wheat is the go-to grain for bread baking flour, but also cooks nicely for salads and soups. Red Spring wheat accounts for the majority of wheat grown in Canada — and has garnered a reputation internationally for its superior milling and baking qualities. Mill it, sprout it, soak it, or boil it whole.
To cook, combine 1 part Wheat Berries with 4 parts water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 45-60 minutes or, until tender but firm.
Wheat Berries are delicious in salads and as a porridge. Browse our favourite Wheat Berry recipes here.

I’ve been using wheat berries from your company a few times now and find them to be fresh and I see the difference in the bread I make and eat.!
I had never tried Wheat Berries before and added them to my first flour order. I just placed a second order and have ordered them again and they will now be a regular on my order list. I really like their nutty flavour and texture and I have made several salads with them. In the winter I will be adding them also to soups.
These have such a great nutty flavour and wonderful texture! I make a batch and serve them for breakfast with yoghurt and slivered almonds and dried fruit. Healthy cholesterol helping alternative to oatmeal. Thanks so much!
Fantastic idea, company and product! Will definitely use again! Love the idea of supporting local farmers.
I didn't know these existed before seeing them on your website. I am so happy to have discovered these and really love consuming products that are grown in Canada. They cooked up very easily, didn't require any cleaning other than the usual rinsing after soaking. They are great in salads, soups and as a stuffing for squash. I took the time to cook, package and freeze the entire bag so I would have quick and easy access when needed.
