Flourist is first and foremost a Vancouver-based flour miller and dry goods brand. Our mission is to connect consumers to better ingredients by sharing the tools, education and community people need to access, cook and eat nutritious, whole food.
Founded in 2014 by Janna Bishop and Shira McDermott, Flourist started out as a wholesale supplier to Vancouver's restaurant scene. Our team has grown since those early days and so have the ways you can get our products. Here is how you can shop with us!
Flourist Bakery 3433 Commercial Street, Vancouver
Open daily from 7AM to 6PM
7AM to 8PM Thursdays and Fridays
The Flourist Bakery is our flagship retail location. Opening in August of 2019, it is the first bakery in Vancouver to exclusively use flour stone milled on site.
Our bakery on Commercial Street offers artisan coffees and plenty of seating, as well as our full range of bread, pastry, and lunch options including soup and sandwiches. We offer a curated selection of local beverages, grocery items, kitchen tools and more. Customers are invited to eat, shop, take classes, and enjoy the beautiful design of our shaker-inspired space designed by local design studio Ste. Marie Studio.
