We are incredibly happy to announce the opening of our new community mill and bakery in Vancouver!
Flourist will open in early August 2019. Our 2800 square foot space is located at 3433 Commercial Street at Commercial Drive + East 18th Avenue in Vancouver’s Cedar Cottage neighbourhood.
Featured will be fresh flour stone-milled on site, sourdough bread baked daily, baked goods, coffee, an all-day food program and a retail market offering tools and ingredients for home baking and cooking adventures.
This retail location will allow us to better connect with our customers, and to continue telling the stories of Canadian grain and bean farmers and to showcase our beautiful fresh flours in the best way possible: our very own sourdough bread program.
We've been so honoured to watch this community grow over the past 5 years, and to be supported by our customers as we worked to get Vancouver's only artisan flour mill up and running. We've seen the demand that exists for better, fresher everyday staples; whether you’re a professional chef or an avid home cook.
In addition to casual food and bakery items inspired by our extensive and well-loved recipe collection, our Vancouver customers will be able to buy all the items currently available online, including our freshly milled flours.
