Flourist Whole Grain Red Fife Flour
is milled from organically grown Red Fife wheat from Vonda, Saskatchewan. This flour contains 100% of the original grain, and is rich in fibre and flavour. Use it in cookies, muffins and any recipe that calls for whole wheat flour. You can also supplement sifted flours to add a whole grain flavour and nutrition boost. 

Red Fife wheat mills beautifully and lends a robust, rich earthy flavour to breads.

Our hand-crafted Austrian stone mill slowly and gently crushes grain at a low temperature, a process that produces beautiful, aromatic, nutritious and delicious flour. The product bears little resemblance to the typical, highly processed shelf stable flour found on grocery store shelves. You’ll notice the difference right away: the colour is natural and the aroma is unmistakable.

Love So Much I'm Sending Flour as Gifts

I have been using Flourist flour since they first launched a couple years ago, and rarely buy any other brand of flour. I recently wanted to send a gift to a friend who is an avid baker, so I sent her flour and she was thrilled. She’s making sourdough with it :)

Red Fife Whole Grain Flour

Flour arrived amazingly quickly and is temporarily stored at 0 deg F. It is almost time for my next bake and my current recipe has risen well using Whole Grain Red Spring Wheat. Now to see if I can get similar results with Red Fife! Will send technical details if successful. Brian Brian

Good News Bad News

I received a shipment from you a few weeks ago. It turned out to be the wrong shipment. It was intended for someone else. I informed you and you generously allowed me to keep the wrong shipment as a gift. Thank you. Shortly thereafter I received an email saying my shipment was on the way. As of yet I have not received the promised shipment. The wrong shipment did include a bag of Red Fyfe Flour. So I have tried it a couple of times. I have made bread, which was delicious. I have used it and the spelt flour in other recipes, even pancakes and received good results. So overall I am happy though a little frustrated.

Whole Grain Red Fife Flour is the way to go!

I made orange bread with it, and added a little bit of vital wheat gluten. It came out perfect. A beautiful, delicious grain flour!
