Tomatoes + Burrata with Sourdough

Burrata seems to be everywhere this summer and we are all for it! There's nothing that will elevate a summer mealtime or happy hour more than a burrata appetizer. Here's a simple way to enjoy it, with one of our incredible baguettes, or your favourite crusty sourdough. Watch us make it here!

Tomatoes + Burrata with Sourdough
2 pints sweet cherry tomatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp wine vinegar
1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley + basil are favourites!)
1 package Burrata
Salt + pepper to taste
Olive oil for drizzling

To make this easy dreamy spread, start by washing and halving the cherry tomatoes. In a medium mixing bowl, drizzle in the oil and the vinegar directly into the bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste, a pinch of each is fine, and stir in the cherry tomato halves. Top with the chopped fresh herbs and stir well.

At this point, you can serve the tomatoes right away, or you can leave them out to marinate for a while before enjoying. When ready to serve, drain the burrata. Transfer the tomatoes to serving bowl and top with the whole ball of burrata. Drizzle the burrata with olive oil and sprinkle with flakey salt, and grind some black pepper on top if desired. Serve immediately with crusty bread and more olive oil.
