February 14 Valentine"s Day Sourdough Workshop

Wonderful! This class was a great informative experience. I had been reading many books on sourdough bread making and trying various methods but there is nothing like taking this hands on class whether you are a complete beginner or have had some experience. The baker was an excellent teacher and I learned new approaches to baking sourdough bread. The atmosphere was easy and very comfortable. Couldn't wait to get home and bake my loaf of bread the next morning!

Great Class

I thoroughly enjoyed the bread making course I took last Tuesday evening. All of the Flourist staff were incredibly helpful and informative. Have been baking bread for a few years but learned some very new techniques that just improve my sense of willing to experiment and add to what I have learned elsewhere. Would highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about flours and bread making to take this course. No previous experience is necessary - it's all right there.

If you're interested in an intro to the world of bread baking - take this class

This is a fantastic class for anyone who wants a nudge into bread baking. For years I had read recipes and sourdough starter descriptions but nothing gave me the confidence I needed to get started. This is an entry level class for the true beginner. With these basics I feel better equipped to follow recipes since I've seen how it's done live. My first loaf turned out really well!!

sourdough class

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Campbell was a terrific teacher who gave us lots of straight forward tips and information. The owner (Sasha ?) was also a great help. But what struck me most was the passion and enthusiasm that everyone at The Flourist brought to the class. That's the sort of thing that inspires others to create amazing things in the kitchen. And lest I forget, the bread we made was the absolute best that I have ever tasted. Cheers to everyone at The Flourist, may you live long and prosper !
