Up your game
I have been making boules using conventional all purpose flour to date with success. However, recently, I tried using Red spring flour and wow! It definitely made a difference in the texture, taste , crumb and just overall goodness. I am happy to support our Canadian farmers. Thank-you to Flourist for the education on different flour types and helping me to’ up my game’ in my bread making journey.

Bundle of Joy
I really love this flour. My husband makes the best no-knead bread with it every 3 days or so. I am so lucky! I have also made pancakes and muffins with it and it hasn't let me down. This is the 3rd time I have ordered the bundle because I love the flour, I love the deal and I love that I don't have to order as often therefore saving on shipping costs (although the $12 flat rate is very reasonable and a small price to pay for the quality of this flour).

Red Spring Rules!
I just received my fifth order of Sifted Red Spring Flour. I mostly use it for sourdough bread baking. If you order it, the first thing you’ll notice is the delicious aroma, then you’ll see the soft creamy colour, so unlike grocery store flour. When you bake with it you’ll get fantastic results. I highly recommend it!

Sifted Red Spring Bundle
I absolutely love getting freshly milled flour from small production farmers who are growing grain in a responsible manner. My husband just made a fresh loaf of bread today with a combo of the sifted red spring, einkorn and rye (also from Flourist) and it looks amazing. He just went to get us a slice right now so I can let you know how it tastes. One moment please.... I'm back. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Delicious! If I wasn't so disciplined I'd eat the whole loaf here and now. Well, I would have to share it with my husband of course. There are so many reasons why everyone should buy this flour; primarily for the quality, the consquence of which is outstanding bread, but also because you will be supporting Canada's farmers and small businesses which in turn supports food security here in Canada. The flour comes in paper bags in a cardboard box and there wasn't a hint of plastic any where to be seen. I love this product and I am thrilled to have found Flourist. Thanks for all that you do!
